This very important component of Cedarfield Assisted Living is designed to offer a safe and nurturing home for those residents with a primary diagnosis of dementia.
A bright, airy dining room, spacious great room, and full-size kitchen allow residents to participate in all types of group and one-on-one activities and programs. Residents are encouraged to become involved in routine tasks, whether it’s planting flowers, assisting with filling bird feeders, or baking cookies. Music, art, games, social gatherings and physical fitness are also a large part of their day.
Family photos, keepsakes and furnishings help to provide a personal retreat for each resident who calls special care home. Each private room includes a spacious full bath.
Seasonal experiences in nature are proven to benefit all of us. A lovely private garden, designed especially for the resident, includes a meandering walkway, comfortable seating, and areas for gardening. It’s a perfect place to visit with family and friends.
As a part of Cedarfield’s upcoming expansion plans, Special Care will benefit from a total renovation of its existing space.
