HEALTH SERVICES

Cedarfield Health Services philosophy is to help all residents attain and maintain the highest possible level of independence, to live with dignity, and to have choices which assure quality of life.

As a Lifecare continuing care retirement community, Cedarfield provides an array of health care services . Whether your stay in Health Services is for a brief recovery or rehab, or if you find your needs to be long term, Cedarfield’s Health Services can provide you with the care and individualized attention that you need.

Three levels of care within Health Services cater to each resident's unique needs: Assisted Living; Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care (Special Care); and Health Care.

A significant advantage of the Lifecare program is the option of a full continuum of health services at NO INCREASE in the monthly fee should the resident’s physical/cognitive needs change.

Additionally, all Cedarfield Lifecare residents may use the Assisted Living, Special Care, or Health Care Center for recuperative care to regain strength from a serious illness or a respite stay due to minor surgery.

Assisted Living and Special Care are licensed under the Virginia Department of Social Services, and Cedarfield’s Health Care Center is licensed by the Virginia Department of Health.

Direct Admissions (non-Lifecare)

Cedarfield permits direct admissions into Special Care and Health Care where the resident pays a daily rate with no entrance fee required. Short-term or long-term residency is available. Regrettably, there are no vacancies at this time in Assisted Living.

Contact us at (804) 968-5520 for current daily rates.
