HEALTH SERVICES
As a part of the Lifecare program, a significant advantage is the provision of a full continuum of health services at NO INCREASE in the monthly fee should the resident’s physical/cognitive needs change.
Whether it's a respite (temporary) stay or permanent residency in Assisted Living, Special Care (memory support) or Health Care, the Cedarfield Health Services philosophy is to help all residents attain and maintain the highest possible level of independence, to live with dignity, and to have choices which assure quality of life.
Respite Stays
There are times when one needs temporary rest or care – perhaps to regain strength from a serious illness, or possibly a short recuperative stay due to minor surgery. All Cedarfield Lifecare residents may use the Assisted Living, Special Care, or Health Care Center for recuperative care at no increase in their monthly fee.
Direct Admissions (non-Lifecare)
Cedarfield permits direct admissions into Special Care and Nursing Care where the resident pays a daily rate with no entrance fee required. Short-term or long-term residency is available. Regrettably, there are no vacancies at this time in Assisted Living.

Assisted Living
The licensed Assisted Living Center features spacious apartments which include a living room with kitchenette, separate bedroom and a full bath. Three meals a day are provided for residents in their own elegant, beautifully appointed dining room. Assisted Living is the best of both worlds: it combines the security of a healthcare services program with all the advantages of apartment living.
Special Care Center (Memory Support)
The licensed Special Care Center is an assisted living level
of care designed to offer a safe, comfortable and homelike atmosphere for residents diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease or related dementia illnesses. There are private apartments (with full baths) which residents may personalize with their own furniture and personal belongings. Plans for daily living and group activities encourages personal success for each resident.
Health Care
The Health Care Center at Cedarfield is a licensed nursing home setting that provides long-term and short-term nursing care 24 hours a day. Furnished private rooms with full baths are available; however, residents are encouraged to bring their own furnishings, personal items and decorations to give their space a feeling of "home."
Cedarfield is not a participating Medicare health provider which means Medicare benefits will not cover any part of the monthly fee for your stay in Health Services.
(Note: Physicians, rehabilitation services, and medications will be billed through these contract service agencies who are participating providers of Medicare.)
