Whether a short-term recuperative stay, or a more permanent, long-term arrangement, there are times when nursing home support is needed. Licensed nursing personnel provide nurturing care and services for residents 24 hours a day; and like every area of the community, it is always person-specific.
The current Cedar Woods Health Care Center at Cedarfield has 56 furnished private rooms with full baths as well as 2 semi-private rooms. Beautiful common areas include a library, two dining rooms, a spacious open living room, and a great room for events and programs.
In preparation for the construction of the new Household Model design health care center, Cedarfield has already moved further away from the old method of institutional care, and is moving towards a more person centered approach.
Cedarfield is not a participating Medicare provider. Medicare benefits will not cover any part of the monthly fee for a stay in Health Services. (Note: Physicians, rehabilitation services, and medications will be billed through service agencies who are participating providers of Medicare.)
