The Health Care Center, licensed by the Virginia Department
of Health, provides long-term and short-term nursing care to
residents of Cedarfield. Sixty units – all equipped with
full baths, are private with the exception of two semi- private
units
reserved for couples. Essential pieces of furniture are provided
for each resident; however, residents are encouraged to bring
their own personal items to give the area a feeling of home.
Exceptional outdoor views of the surrounding grounds and gardens
of Cedarfield can be enjoyed from each room.
Two beautifully appointed dining rooms are available for
residents, depending upon their specific needs. Whatever the
choice, residents enjoy waited table service by the courteous
and friendly dining staff at Cedarfield.
As a private pay community, The Hermitage at Cedarfield is
not a certified Medicare facility. This means that Medicare
does not reimburse any part of the resident’s monthly
fee while they reside in health care. However, Lifecare residents
at Cedarfield pay no increase in their monthly service fee
once they move to the health care center, whether temporary
or permanent.
