Certain cottage homes and apartments are now available with little or no waiting period.

Entrance Fees

As with most Lifecare communities, The Hermitage at Cedarfield residents pay a one-time Entrance Fee and a regular monthly fee. Entrance Fees are based on the size of the residence and number of occupants (single/couple).

Traditional Declining Refund Plan

Cedarfield offers a Declining Refund Plan which will provide the benefits of a full Lifecare Program. If a resident leaves Cedarfield during the first 49 months of residency, he/she will receive a refund equal to the Entrance Fee paid, less 2% of the fee for every full or partial month of residency. In the event of death, the Entrance Fee refund is payable only during the first 12 months of residency.

A percentage of the full Entrance Fee may be applied to your Federal Income Tax medical expense deduction, and may be taken in the year the fee is paid. Additionally, a portion of the monthly fee may also be applied each year.

The Future List (Waiting List)

For those interested in moving to Cedarfield, the first step is to place your name(s) on the Future List. There is a $1,000 deposit which is fully refundable should you decide to remove your name from the list, or it may be applied to the Entrance Fee.
