The Assisted Living Center, licensed by the Virginia Department
of Social Services, is designed for residents who cannot quite
live independently but do not need full nursing care. Spacious
apartments include a living room with kitchenette, a separate
bedroom with a full bath. Residents may decorate their apartments
to suite their own style.
Three meals a day are provided for residents in their own
elegant, beautifully appointed dining room. Assisted Living
is the best of both worlds: it combines the security of a
healthcare services program with all the advantages of apartment
living.
At the present time, only Lifecare residents at Cedarfield
can move to the Assisted Living Center.
